Daycare

Our daycare program at Mission Road Kennels is a great way for your dog to brush up on their socialization skills in a safe environment. Wether your dog is looking for group play or to get more comfortable for an upcoming stay, we can accommodate their needs.

Dogs that are involved in our group play will be subjected to a temperament test to ensure they are placed in an environment that is enjoyable for them. Every dog has their own personality so we want to be sure they are fitted to a group that meets their playstyle, temperament, and size. Our program employs a “crate and rotate” procedure which ensure dogs are getting the exposure/play they need, but also getting much needed rest and deescalation to have a safer experience. Our play groups are also monitored by trained staff to ensure the dogs are playing safely and redirect if things are escalating

Just because your dog does not fit in with the larger groups, does not mean they can’t have an enjoyable experience. Dogs that do not do well with others, or only do good with 1-2 dogs, will still get ample outside time and 1-on-1 playtime with our staff.
